Welcome to Mebo Communications

From a point in space to the circles in your mind: This was a slogan "jingle" used by the offshore pirate radio station Radio Caroline back in the mid 1980's.

This simple slogan has connotations when applied to the principle of Radio Communications, in the late eighteenth century James Clark Maxwell postulated a mathematical framework of a set of complex equations that linked the existence of a magnetic field with that of an electric field. The resultant linkage of these two fields known as a Transverse Electro Magnectic Wave (TEM Wave) or otherwise referred to as a Radio Wave. Other researchers of that epoch one by the name of Henric Hertz demonstrated practically that Maxwells Wave theory could be used to remotely communicate (send and receive) between two points. It was Marconi who is credited as the inventor of Radio Communications, and Chelmsford in Essex is synonymous as the birthplace of the Marconi Company. In its hayday the company manufactured a diverse range of communications equipment, ranging from Radio and Television Broadcasting Transmission systems, to Naval and Air Traffic control Radar systems.
